We come to your site
Both. Anything that can be hauled can come to our temperature controlled paint shop in Fillmore. A tank or a steel structure that cannot move gets blasted and painted in the field.
New paint sticks to whatever is under it. If that is rust or an old coating that is already letting go, the new coat fails right along with it. Blasting takes the steel down to clean, rough metal so the coating has something to grip.
Yes. Send the spec with your request and we will quote the job to it. We have done work with a complex paint and documentation process, and one of our Google reviews is about exactly that.
Yes, estimates are available on request. We need to know what the piece is and what shape the surface is in before we can put a price on it.
The inside gets blasted to clean metal first, because a lining put over rust or old product will blister and peel. Then the lining goes on at the thickness the spec calls for. Plural component spray is on our service list, and it is how a lot of tank linings are applied.
Yes, truck painting and heavy equipment painting are both on our service list. We degrease the unit and mask off everything that should not get paint. Then the rusted areas get blasted back to metal before the coating goes on.
